THE TRUTH ABOUT CLOROX-36

EWG

When discussing cleaning products, I often reference the Environmental Working Group (aka EWG). The EWG is a non-profit organization aimed at empowering the public to live healthier lives. They do this in a number of ways including populating their database with product reviews based on the ingredients in each. They've recently added hundreds more products to their Guide to Healthy Cleaning analysis. Using their database and knowledge of how chemicals affect our bodies, they rate each product on a scale from A-F. Here's what they found about Clorox® products. When considering products for use in my home, anything that receives a grade of A or B is acceptable. C's, D's and F's don't make the cut.
